[Responsibilities:]{.underline}
Maintain a clean working environment for all staff and visitors by performing standard custodial and grounds maintenance duties in and around County-owned buildings. Custodial duties include, but are not limited to: gather and empty waste baskets, change liners and remove trash in all offices and work areas; dust and polish; sweep, mop and/or vacuum floors and carpets; clean and supply rest rooms with towels, soap and toilet paper; and wash building windows. Other duties include lock and unlock assigned building or offices; secure building when facilities are not in use checking for unlocked doors and windows; removal of snow from sidewalks and walkways; spread snow melting salt and chemicals; empty outside trash; move furniture. Attend to cleaning emergencies when required.
[Qualifications:]{.underline}
High School diploma or G.E.D. required. Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping work preferred but not required. Possession of a valid Drivers License.
