Inventory Coordinator

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Prepares information for outside auditors.

Maintains adequate levels of products.

Prepares inventory history reports for management as required.

Audits all count control and inventory cost control systems.

Assist with planning and execution of the physical inventory.

Manages inventory with accuracy.

Leads department projects through the planning and scheduling of work and the review or approval of tasks.

Coordinates with other departments for timely delivery of materials.

Drive forklift to deliver products to departments

Drive company box truck to and from warehouse and main building as needed

Ensures materials are staged and issued for production.

Prepares analysis for appropriate obsolete material reserve.

Ensures daily kanban reports are completed in a timely manner.

Audits Inventory system transactions for accuracy and completeness.

Ensures employees complete daily power equipment inspection log.

Facilitates the 5S program to maintain the warehouse in a safe and organized manner.

Performs other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have intermediate computer skills (email, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.).

Must have a valid drivers license.

Must be able to drive company forklift and company box truck.

Must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, managers, and other employees of the organization.

Must be able to respond to common complaints and inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or other members of the business community.

Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.

Must be able to maintain good attendance.

Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
