Job Title: On-Site Service Advisor

Location: US, MI, Clinton Township

Pay Rate: $26 – $28/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (occasional overtime)

Job Summary:

As the primary customer contact, the On-Site Service Advisor is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth within the branch. This role involves managing customer interactions, handling service requests, and ensuring smooth workflow coordination with the service team.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact for customers, whether over the phone or in-person, fostering strong relationships with key clients.

Assess customer needs, gather relevant information, open work orders, and provide quotes.

Develop claims, prepare repair plans, and keep customers informed about the status of their repair work.

Create detailed work orders, including diagnostic plans, quotes, and repair timelines, based on parts and labor availability. Review these plans with the Service Supervisor or Team Lead before communicating with the customer.

Coordinate job assignments with the Service Supervisor and/or Team Lead.

Address customer concerns regarding warranties and explain charges clearly.

Track and monitor key performance indicators for the workshop, such as labor productivity and customer satisfaction.

Top 3 Skills Required:

Strong customer-facing skills.

Experience in a dealership or a similar field.

Proficiency with computers and relevant software.

Additional Notes from the Hiring Manager:

The ideal candidate should have experience in a dealership or a related environment. This role involves drafting complaints, moving trucks and RVs, managing warranties, preparing quotes, and selling services. Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as you will regularly interact with both vendors and customers in person, over the phone, and via email.

Once ready, the manager will request 30-minute Zoom interviews with selected candidates.
