The Job:

As a 3rd Shift Process Technician, you’ll be part of our Clobal Supply Chain team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to:

Primarily responsible for insuring process is in control and parts are produced in the most efficient manner in terms of equipment, cycle, cost, material, etc.

Ensure that machines are running at optimum efficiency.

Troubleshoot machine, mold and material problems.

Responsible for optimizing machine parameters to produce high quality parts in the most economical manner.

Strive for continuous improvement within the department.

Provide prompt, accurate documentation of machine, material, or tooling problems to appropriate functional area for resolution.

Maintain records as required from proper execution of responsibility.

Works toward resolving problems systematically using appropriate problem-solving tools and techniques, i.e., DOE, capability studies, etc.

Take a proactive approach to ensure working/processing environment meets level of expectations always and reports discrepancies, i.e. housekeeping, machine condition, material, tooling and personal competence.

The Person:

High School diploma or Equivalent of High School education with a background of plastic material properties/processes is preferred.

Preferred secondary education in technical related field

Must have 3 years’ experience in mold set-up, troubleshooting, exposure to maintenance problems, and is familiar with state-of-the-art controls.
