Summary of Position:

This position will develop and ensure the success of Ferris Competitive Esports program and is in charge of recruiting student-players, managing the budget, overseeing the general operations, coaching, and building the program identity. Duties include supervising student staff and student-players, overseeing the daily operations of the esports arena, coordinating broadcast productions of esports competitions, and coordinating esports events hosted by Ferris State University. The preferred candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Travel for team tournaments and recruiting will be required. This is a 28-hour-per-week part-time position.
The anticipated start date for this position is September 2024. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed.
