PHYSICAL THERAPIST – Full time

Position Purpose:
To safely provide skilled physical therapy intervention to clients served and to be a productive member of the physical therapy department.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist, as assigned, in administrative duties and in supervision of physical therapy assistants and support staff and students.
Adheres to missions, philosophy, policies and procedures of the facility.
Adheres to physical therapy standards of practice and assists in development of annual departmental goals and objectives.
Maintains active and participatory communication with all members of the treatment team including accurate, thorough and timely documentation.
Demonstrate clinical competence in all areas of physical therapy and assure professional growth through attendance of available in house in-services and yearly or bi-yearly outside courses.
Promotes mission and philosophy of the facility in a positive manner in the community.
Qualifications:
Skill, Knowledge and Abilities:
Requires a thorough knowledge of human anatomy, philosophy, and the effect of treatment procedures on body function and structure.
Knowledge of neuro-developmental treatment and motor control and understanding of neurological dysfunction and its effect on motor performance.
To be Proficient in the EMR Welsky within 90 days of hire.
Education: Minimum of Bachelors’s degree from an accredited school of physical therapy.
Licensure: Current physical therapy license in state of Wisconsin, or application for licensure on case by case basis and CPR certification.
Experience: Preferred 1 year experience in neuro-rehabilitation setting will consider graduates with clinical education experience in neuro-rehabilitation.
