Are You: someone with strong consulting and relationship management skills someone with project management and planning skills (This role can be Remote, however, must be located on the East Coast of the US, location, to able to attend client person meetings, team events etc.) As the Fleet Manager, you will manage and direct defined aspects of Clients fleet operations. Oversee policy compliance and reporting as it relates to the fleet; develop and implement vehicle and equipment specifications and cost management programs; manage fleet department budget; develop and maintain outside vendor and service provider relationships. A Day in the Life Responsible for management duties related to assigned Clients vehicle fleet program and enforcement of fleet policy to ensure the efficient and effective use of company-owned and/or leased vehicles In consultation with the Client, initiates, monitors, and recommends adjustments to the Clients fleet policy to maximize the fleets efficiency and profitability, ideally reduces the Clients liability exposure and follows industry Best Practices. This includes acquisition, maintenance and remarketing as determined by cost effective life cycle analysis. Escalation contact for Clients employees who have company-provided vehicles (i.e., Leased or Owned) in matters related to the administration of the fleet policy. First point of driver contact is the fleet management supplier. The Fleet Manager develops and maintains an effective business relationship with Client personnel as necessary to provide effective fleet management services to Client and to provide recommendations for improvements in Clients fleet policy, and its management and administration. Primary contact with key suppliers of vehicles and related support services. When interfacing with these key suppliers, maintains a professional relationship that facilitates cost and service in the best interests of the Client, while adhering to fleet industry Best Practices. Primarily responsible for management of policy exceptions and problem resolution with these key suppliers. Knowledgeable of, and advises Client on, fleet-specific regulatory matters and related fleet policy compliance. Requirements Bachelors degree in a business discipline 7-10 years Fleet Manager/Industry experience CAFM accreditedor in progress Strong capabilities to effectively consult, influence, negotiate and to lead change. Strong rapport-building and effective relationship skills with persons having a broad range of backgrounds Demonstrated strategic thinking, project management and planning capability Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential. Demonstrated success in juggling competing priorities and tasks. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), strong presentation skills; an effective listener Fleet Industry knowledge Experience with presenting new ideas to executive level Proficient in at least one of the data visualizations tools, Excel; strong data mining skills The hiring base salary range for this position is $72, 500- $99, 700 annually.
