About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a AI Platform Product Manager for the Enterprise Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) Platform Team within the Data Management & Insight organization.

The AI Platform Product Manager will lead the build out of significant product capabilities on our strategic Enterprise AI/ML platforms to enable several critical company-wide Generative AI and Predictive AI use cases across Wells Fargo . The role will work with several senior stakeholders across Business, Technology, Data Science and Product Management to design and build innovative AI platform products both on-prem and on public cloud.

The AI Platform Product Manager will directly manage the delivery of one or more cross-functional teams of engineers and data scientists and will be responsible for delivering value through CXP improvement, operational efficiency, revenue generation, and / or risk reduction.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of strong human-centered design mindset, business analytical skills, deep technology expertise, and be transformational leader in delivering value to our business and customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting the product strategy, guiding the product development teams, and ensuring the alignment of product features with strategic business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of AI and Cloud technologies, coupled with the ability to work effectively across teams to launch innovative and user-centric products.

In this role, you will lead:

Product Vision and Strategy – Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for the enterprise AI platform products that aligns with the banks overall objectives and AI goals. This includes identifying key use cases for Generative and Predictive AI across various business units.

Product Roadmap and Planning – Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines key milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Prioritize features and enhancements based on stakeholder input, business impact, and strategic importance.

Stakeholder Management – Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., business units, data scientists, engineers) to understand their needs and translate them into platform requirements. Ensure continuous engagement and alignment with stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

Cross-functional Leadership and Delivery – Lead cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and designers, to develop and deliver the AI platform. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment to ensure the successful execution of the product vision.

Performance Monitoring – Monitor the performance of deployed AI models and platform components, using metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement. Optimize platform performance and ensure it meets the needs of various AI use cases while maintaining scalability and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

7 years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

3 years of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring

7 years of new product development experience

Desired Qualifications:

A Masters degree or higher in operations research, applied statistics, economics, computer science, electrical engineering or a related discipline

3 years of experience with design, implementation and governance experience with Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning architecture

3 years of configuration experience with Cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or MS Azure

3 years of experience creating and implementing strategic plans and roadmaps at the executive level for enterprise-wide business initiatives

Experience using Design Thinking methods to develop business solutions

Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams

Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience

Strong negotiation and leadership abilities

San Francisco, CA and Concord CA pay range: $144,000.00 – $300,000.00 Annual

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
