A local manufacturing plant is seeking a dependable and precise Die Cutter. In this role, you will operate presses that range in size and choose the appropriate fixtures for each job. You will also load coils of material onto the presses and help with the actual operation of the stamping equipment if necessary. It is expected all items to be completed accurately and consistently, so you will also conduct quality assurance tests using precision measuring tools.

salary: $41,600 – $57,000 per year

work hours: 6:30 AM – 3 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

 Rubbers and sets up dies

 Sets-up die presses and makes ready for cutting

 Sets-up stripping unit on die press

 Get first off approved for cutting

 Watch for Die cutting defects, and inform manager or production planner of possible problems

 Ability to make die alterations

The essential functions of this role include:

manual lifting up to 50lbs

Skills

Basic mathematical (1 year of experience is preferred)

Attention detail (1 year of experience is preferred)

Mechanical Skills (1 year of experience is preferred)
