PM Senior Advisor, Physician Experience – Evernorth Health Services – Remote

Position Summary
The Project Management Senior Advisor in the Physician Experience Department plays an important role in bringing ideas from concept to launch. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for supporting the Physician Experience team in managing the delivery of initiatives to agreed outcomes for the sponsors of the work. The initiatives supported may be outside the Physician Experience team.
Essential Functions
Collaborates with others on the Project Management and Product Owner teams to support the strategic vision of the Physician Innovation organization
Provides project management for strategic/tactical projects throughout the business life cycle for a use case
Drives the business readiness plan through the project delivery, the warranty period and up to acceptance by the business production support group
Maintains focus on program risks and project interdependencies across the program life cycle, makes contingency plans to proactively address issues that pose risk to budget, schedule, and scope
Regularly reports out to stakeholders the status of the project, progress made and barriers to meet commitments
Represent Project Management and Product Management to coordinate across other functional workgroups to map out dependencies and timelines
Work collaboratively with internal & external cross-functional partners to manage use case projects
Collaborate with Product Management and Technology teams at Cigna and Evernorth, as well as all necessary matrix partners to deliver prioritized products and projects
Ensure the solution delivered is aligned to the approved business case, escalate any major deficiencies in functionality delivered to gain stakeholder agreement
Provide support for business analysis for initiatives when business circumstances warrant this work:
Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and analyze data to support strategic business process enhancements and resolve issues
Guide businesses in improving processes, products, services and use cases through data analysis
Gather and document business requirements for new products and product enhancements
Lead the business implementation/testing and rollout of new product releases
Translate ideas and business requirements into engaging visual presentations and design solutions
Analyze data to provide content and/or recommendations for strategic direction
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred and 8 years relevant experience in healthcare, product management, project management, or business analysis
Ability to manage in a matrixed organization environment
Project management experience required in delivery methodologies: Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, certifications desired
Demonstrated experience in driving a project to completion and meeting deadlines
Knowledge of healthcare industry, health insurance, or PBM preferred
Effective communication with internal and external individuals in various functional areas and levels of management
Excellent presentation development skills, including slide composition and documentation
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage work load
Strong analytical, planning, problem identification and resolution skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to travel ~10%
