Tax Accountants

Carpenter, Evert & Associates, Ltd. seeks Tax Accountants based in Bloomington, MN to perform the following duties (multiple openings available): Help businesses with tax strategy, ensuring tax compliance and increasing post-tax profits; Create tax projections throughout the year to provide clients with useful information pertaining to their income, tax liability and ways to lower their taxes; Research tax laws, rules & regulations; Analyze clients tax applications and defend decisions and/or outline solutions to those issues; Find and recommend corrections for errors from incorrect tax filings; Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks, and reading professional publications; and Use data visualization tools to model and present tax data. Position requires Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Business Accounting, or closely-related field.
