Entry Level Parts Counterperson

I-State Truck Center is looking for an Entry Level Parts Counterperson for our Blaine Minnesota location. Our Parts Counter Representatives fulfill a critical role in the daily operations of our business by assisting our internal and external customers in person, via email, and over the phone. They also provide support to our inventory team by participating in inventory counts. This is a critical position to ensure the company is able to locate and secure parts for jobs to be completed in a timely manner. Making sure we can access the parts in an efficient and cost effective manner ensures we are representing our customers best interest. In addition to the duties mentioned above, Parts Counter Representatives are responsible for billing parts to the correct repair orders, sales orders, and store transfers; using online parts software and systems to look up truck parts; providing price quotes and other needed information to the customer; pulling items from stock for both technicians and outside customers; verifying purchase orders; preparing parts for delivery to customers; helping with cycle counts and occasionally receiving and checking in ordered parts. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing and crouching all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This is a full-time position. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Valid Drivers License Preferred Education and Experience Knowledge of heavy truck parts.
