Description Supplemental/PRN Qualifications: Strong background and experience in hockey High School graduate Junior or College hockey playing experience preferred Knowledge of skating fundamentals, basic stick handling, and shooting techniques BLS certification Job Responsibilities: Observes and adjusts potential problems with each athletes skating mechanics along with shooting and stick handling ability Identifies and builds relationships with local market groups to promote SMAP programs Builds and maintains professional relationships with athletes Educates athletes by targeting their specific training needs Recruits, trains, and oversees hockey athletes Measure pre- and post-program assessments Ensures scheduling and maintenance of equipment and cleanliness of the hockey training area/facility Coordinates with OMC staff to ensure a strong service line and team approach Enjoys teaching youth; and the ability and confidence to train young beginner athletes as well as advanced athletes Other duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
