[POSITION OVERVIEW
[Envision Cooperative is looking for a full-time or part-time Hardware Supervisor in Mohall. The Hardware Supervisor is expected to direct, promote, and coordinate the store in a manner that will optimize the cooperatives market share and savings, improve the cooperatives efficiency, help achieve the cooperatives mission and goals, and result in outstanding customer service. This position is essentially a hardware associate position with additional administrative tasks and responsibilities. The Hardware Supervisor will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative.

– Oversee purchases and sales for the store.
– Work alongside the hardware associate to ensure proper coverage and excellent customer service.
– Coordinate shift work
– Coordinate scheduling to ensure proper time management.
– Uphold and enforce the cooperative policies and procedures, including the credit policy.
– Oversee and manage inventory through the Enable program.
– Maintain a system for monitoring and controlling shift cash over/short and inventory levels that result in minimal shrinkage.
– Maintain an inventory that rotates with seasonal needs with minimal carry-over from year to year.
– Ensure that we do not overstock or sell items that do not match our customer demand.
– Check all in-shipments for accuracy against the delivery ticket, proper quantity, price as ordered, and quality.
– Maintain an excellent working knowledge of the inventory. Resolve discrepancies in daily inventory reports and maintain inventories at levels to assure service with a minimum of delivery delays, yet maintain inventory turn goals.
– Help ensure that all merchandise is properly priced.
– Ensure the store and warehouse are organized, clean, and set up efficiently for proper movement of products.
– Develop and implement a marketing plan as well as direct the stores marketing activities.
– Help achieve shift and store sales goals and profitability.
– Accurately and efficiently wait on customers and record payments received.

– Submit and oversee product warranty claims.

Help ensure that property, facilities, and equipment remain in good repair and attain a clean and orderly appearance.
