Excellent Total Compensation Package
Wages start at $22.89
with a top rate of $26.11. Core hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with
overtime before or after those hours. All offers of employment are
contingent on successfully passing a background check, physical, and
drug screen.

The Electronic Technician I will diagnose and repair electronic tools
and equipment to QFS requirements in compliance with ISO9001 standards
in a production environment providing feedback to customers and
engineering. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year of
experience working in a mechanical environment. This role will work with
minimal assistance and supervision to meet performance standards for the
repair center, bringing questionable cases to managements attention.
Candidate should possess computer skills to complete the data entry of
repair information.
Responsibilities
– Diagnose and repair electronic tools and equipment.
– Determine worn or broken parts.
– Test incoming repairs to specification and know how to use test
equipment.
– Diagnose electronic failures using Snap-on specific testers and
calibrators and standard electronic diagnostic equipment.
– Perform calibration and final inspection per applicable
procedures.
– Calibrate and maintain test equipment.
– Determine warranty on incoming repairs.
– Required to meet individual cell/department goals.
– Provide information to engineers on problem codes for tools.
– Follow applicable ESD requirements.
– Perform data entry on company and repair center computer system and
MS Office Suite.
– Accurate data entry of transactions to ensure correct invoicing
of customers.
– Inventory control.
– Maintain department parts inventory.
– Parts annual inventory reconciliation.
– Rapid Continuous Improvement (RCI).
– Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe department, and
work area.
– Participate in RCI events and 6S projects.
– Carry out ISO 14000 Environmental, Hygiene, and Safety duties as
required by the repair center.
– Know applicable QFS policies as they relate to the work
instructions.
Qualifications
Knowledge:
– High School diploma or general education degree, with a minimum of 1
year of related experience.
– Possess basic math aptitude.
– Mechanical background or aptitude.
– Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent experience.
– Computer skills include but are not limited to data entry, Microsoft
Access, Excel, Outlook and Word.
– Ability to read electronic schematics, mechanical blueprints,
engineering prints and part change notices.
– Ability to troubleshoot to the component level.

Ability:

– Physical demands:
– Lifting requirement -of up to 50 lbs.
– Lift 3 to10 lbs. consistently.
– Ability to work around solvent, grease, oil, lubricants, solder,
cleaning detergents and other items listed in the MSDS
documentation.
