Middle School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

AnthroMed Education is immediately seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy to Middle School students for the 2024-2025 School Year in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 depending on experience.
POSITION DETAILS FOR THE SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST ROLE:
Hours: 7:30 AM-3:00 PM.
Provide therapy to Middle School students.
Approximately 30-35 students are on the caseload.
Half of the caseload consists of low-incidence students.
The other half of the caseload consists of General Education students.
Collaborate with another SLP who is at this school 4 days a week.
Extremely supportive team with incredible resources for students available.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST :
Provide speech and language therapy for eligible students.
Complete all job duties within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
Act as a case manager for students whose primary eligibility category is speech-language impairment.
Provides professional development for teachers and support staff.
Provide speech and language therapy for eligible students.
Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams to identify students in need of special education.
Participate in team meetings for the development of student’s individualized education programs.
More duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois.
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License.
