Position Overview:
The Candidate Experience Lead is responsible for managing a small team of Candidate Experience Specialists (CES) while maintaining oversight of their own group of sites. In this dual-role, the Lead ensures their team meets performance goals and enhances the candidate experience from post-offer to hire. They are also accountable for handling their own set of responsibilities, ensuring consistency and efficiency in the hiring process. The Lead plays a key role in leadership, team development, and continuous process improvement, while maintaining high standards of compliance and performance.
Job Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Lead, support, and manage a team of CES to ensure they meet performance targets.
Ensure all phases of the pre-employment hiring process have successfully been completed including all Pre-employment background screenings per our Standard Operating Procedure for positions overseen by the CAT program
Oversee evaluation and adjudication of applicant background checks designated as “Pending Potential Conflict” of “Client Review Required” for their locations
Act as Subject Matter Expert for Employment Qualifications according to federal, state, local and company standards
Dual Role Responsibilities:
Manage a separate group of sites, performing the same tasks as CES team members (candidate communication, scheduling, background checks).
Balance leadership duties with individual site management, ensuring seamless candidate transitions.
Candidate and Process Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for post-offer candidates, ensuring timely and smooth completion of pre-employment steps.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to troubleshoot issues and optimize the candidate journey.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company hiring criteria.
Maintain accurate candidate documentation and oversee the adjudication of complex background check cases.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in HR, hiring, or similar roles.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
