General Labor

Catalyst Acoustics Group (Catalyst) is an elite group of acoustic,
seismic, vibration and noise control companies offering the broadest
portfolio of noise control solutions in the market. CAGMW is a division
within the group encompassing three brands and the largest manufacturing
facility.

We are seeking for a General Laborer to take up manual labor tasks and
support operations in worksites. Candidate will be able to handle power
tools and materials (such as saws and drills). Ideal candidate will have
the ability to lift heavy loads. Concentrate on performing tasks at hand
and committing to safety rules. This position will be based out of North
Aurora, IL.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

General:

– Clean up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material.
– Assist welders, painters, or machine operators on-site.
– Handle and transport materials and equipment.
– Use power tools and machinery when needed.
– Use tape measures and reading drawings.
– Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks.
– Help with setting up and transferring materials.
– Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.

Core Competencies:

– Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long
periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds.)
– Good hand-eye coordination.
– Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus.
– Great communication and teamwork skills.
– Commitment to safety rules
– Bilingual (preferred but not required).

Educational/Experience Requirements:

High School diploma or GED Equivalent.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and
reach with hands and arms. This position requires standing for long
periods of time and lifting heavy loads up to 50lbs. The employee is

duties and responsibilities successfully. Specific vision abilities are
required to perform their duties and responsibilities successfully;
examples include close vision, distance vision.

Work Environment:

The work environment described here are representative of those that an
employee will encounter while performing the essential functions of this
job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with

This position will have a base working schedule of Monday to Friday 6am
to 3:30pm. Overtime and extended daily hours may be required depending
on production demand. The person working in this position will be out on
the production floor daily. Always maintain company safety standards
regarding required personnel protective equipment usage, and safe
working practices.
