Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Analyze and document existing processes: Conduct thorough assessments of current operations to identify areas for improvement and streamline workflows.
Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with department heads, managers, and subject matter experts to gather input and ensure that OPs align with organizational goals and objectives.
Continuously improve processes: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify deviations: Identify instances where suppliers are not meeting on-time delivery targets and determine the root causes of these deviations.
Conduct root cause analysis: Employ analytical tools and techniques to investigate the underlying reasons for supplier performance issues, such as quality problems, capacity constraints, or logistical challenges. As well as how the information is flowing from the buyers into SAP.
Develop corrective action plans: Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement effective corrective action plans to address identified issues and improve on-time delivery performance.
Track and measure progress: Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and measure the improvement in supplier on-time delivery performance.
Communicate with suppliers: Maintain open and effective communication with suppliers to address concerns, provide feedback, and drive performance improvement.
Identify opportunities for improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve supplier on-time delivery performance through process optimization, supplier development programs, or other initiatives.
Identify critical projects: Work closely with Purchasing Manager, Buyers, Sourcing and stakeholders to identify projects that require to develop and implement a Purchasing strategy and have significant business implications.
Follow up on open actions from genba walk and provide root cause and closure to actions from the floor and other departments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain / Manufacturing Environment or similar

Cascading information to direct reports and fostering an environment of open and honest communication.
Escalation and presentation of information to Upper Management.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems in a manufacturing environment.
Established project management skills: Ability to document, plan, market, and execute projects.
