Position Summary Information

Position Summary

Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a Tenure Track position at the Assistant Professor rank in the department of Curriculum, Instruction, & Educational Leadership starting Fall 2025. Responsibilities may include supervision of field students, student teachers, and course instruction

Minimum Qualifications

Earned doctoral degree in Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership or related discipline completed before August 25, 2025.

Teaching and/or administrative experience in birth-12th grade programs

Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the education of diverse populations.

Successful performance in an on-campus interview including teaching demonstration also required.

Preferred Qualifications

Evidence of effective classroom teaching in higher education.

Evidence of expertise in the area of educational technology.

Previous teaching and/or supervision experience in higher education strongly preferred.
