Description:

A Senior Scheduler is responsible for overseeing and managing the scheduling activities within an organization. They work independently with little supervision and may supervise a team of schedulers or assistants. This is a Hybrid position (Office and Remote, typically office Tuesday-Thursday)

Responsibilities may include:

Developing and implementing scheduling policies, procedures, and best practices.

Managing and coordinating complex schedules for individuals, teams, or projects.

Analyzing scheduling data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

Providing guidance and support to junior schedulers or assistants.

Coordinating with other departments to ensure that schedules are aligned with organizational goals and priorities.

Communicating schedule changes and updates to relevant parties.

Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to understand their scheduling needs and preferences.

Providing training and mentorship to junior schedulers or assistants.

Leading meetings and discussions related to scheduling activities.

Ensuring that schedules are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations and policies.

Senior Schedulers should have strong leadership, organizational, communication, and analytical skills. They should also be detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
