Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform all types of PLC and Electrical maintenance throughout the facility. This role involves repairing large and small equipment, assisting the building engineer on night shifts, and handling electrical wiring, electronic and electrical equipment. You will also repair and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems on plant equipment, read schematics, diagrams, and ladder logic, and be capable of building and installing machinery. Additional responsibilities include basic fabrication, tool and die repairs, lockout/tag out procedures, and general maintenance of gas and diesel equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, showing responsibility for junior maintenance employees and maintaining quality procedures to meet recognized standards and customer expectations.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Point of Rocks, Maryland.

Work Environment

The role involves working near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. You will be regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and occasionally to the risk of electrical shock, flash burn of eyes, and skin burns. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. Physical demands include the ability to stand continuously, occasional walking and sitting, and performing a wide range of physical activities such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying heavy objects (60-100 lbs), climbing, crouching, kneeling, bending, and handling. Repetitive finger motions are required. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Normal color vision is required. This position requires a 6-day work week with mandatory overtime, including weekends
