Plant Reliability Engineer

The Reliability Engineer’s top priority of accountability is for the health and safety of their direct and indirect reports; support for a safe working environment in the area of responsibility and to correct or report unsafe acts or conditions through appropriate channels of resolution. The incumbent designs and implements solutions; manages projects that support the plant in attaining safety, quality, service, and cost goals. Responsible for achieving world-class reliability by use of personnel, material, methods, and technical resources to optimize equipment and operational performance.
Develop and implement predictive and preventative means of machine and process maintenance
Lead/participate in project teams focused on continuous improvement in a number of areas including: Meantime Between Failure, PM Compliance, Trigger Events, Production Attainment, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), TPM and other predictive means through technology based platforms.
Create and implement a reliability strategy within the Maintenance Department
Develop multi year plans to improve mechanical reliability to world class levels (95%)
Be the plant subject matter expert regarding predictive maintenance methodologies
Work with Plant Maintenance Department and Engineering Group to develop predictive maintenance strategies to improve uptime with plant equipment, and build redundancy into critical areas
Responsible for leading the Reliability Pillar using WCM methodologies to develop action plans and projects to achieve plant KPIs
Understand cost and downtime trends, and identify projects to take corrective action
Coach and lead the maintenance team 5S program
Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline (Required)
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt; SPC; Kaizen; Root Cause Analysis (Preferred)
At least 3 years Industrial Reliability experience in fast paced environment (Preferred)
At least 3 years engineering background (Preferred)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills (Required)
Advanced Computer Skills (Required)
MS Office (Required)
