Summary About the Position: Serves as the primary point of contact for all matters pertaining to the Strategic/Annual Campaign Plan and internal reports for the organization. Incumbent is responsible for the overall administrative services to include organizing special events and coordinating for visitors and newly assigned key personnel. Responsibilities As a Training Technician Office Automation you will perform duties to include, but not limited to the following: Utilize statistical analysis to compile reports and fact sheets for briefings. Prepare charts and graphs to improve program operations. Receive verbal or written requests for administrative support issues. Assist with preparation for organizational, strategic plans and processes. Provide guidance to leadership on applicable procedures and regulations. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Experience compiling data, preparing reports and creating correspondence utilizing various office automation tools; maintaining and updating schedules and/or calendars and coordinating meetings. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Clerical Manages and Organizes Information PROFICIENCY: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-6). NOTE: All applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcement. Education Additional Information Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
