Behavioral Health Technician

Qualifications: Facility in Walker, WV is in need of two Behavior Health Technicians. No experience required – will train. Must have a HS Diploma or Equivilency. A drivers license is required to take clients to meetings or activities. Will be required to take a drug test and background check if offered employment. Will be responsible for being with and watching over the clients (8 to 15 in caseload) at all times to ensure they are safe and taking medications as required. Will participate in all activities and meetings required of the clients including eating meals with them. Will check on clients while they are sleeping every half hour during the shift of 7pm – 7am and must stay awake during this night shift. Will call for assistance if needed for any reason. Other duties as assigned. Description: Full-time work hours are 7pm – 7am, approximately 36 – 48 hours per week with every other weekend in the schedule. Overtime is paid at time and a half.
