The Emory Clinic is seeking a Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a dynamic team of clinicians, educators, and researchers dedicated to delivering high-quality care in an innovative environment. Our mission focuses on developing new treatments and training the next generation of psychiatrists.

The qualified candidate will work full-time as an attending physician in our geriatric outpatient/PHP/inpatient program. Responsibilities will include providing psychiatric care to new patients, supervising fellows, residents, and medical students, conducting quality assessments, attending case conferences, and participating in administrative and educational meetings. Additionally, the attending will have opportunities to engage in research, including clinical studies, quality improvement initiatives, and the development of evidence-based practices and specialty treatments. Inpatient on-call responsibilities will be part of the faculty call system.

The role is structured with 80% clinical care and 20% dedicated to administration and teaching or research. Research or related funding may adjust the time allocation for these activities.

Compensation will be based on faculty rank and experience, complemented by an attractive benefits package. Positions are available from assistant to full professor.

Minimum qualifications include an MD or DO degree, completion of a four-year psychiatry residency, and a geriatric psychiatry fellowship. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a medical license in the State of Georgia and must be board certified or board eligible.
