As a Senior Software Engineer at Honeywell/LenelS2, youll play a pivotal role in shaping our innovative SaaS platform, which powers advancements in mobile credentialing—one of the fastest-growing segments in the security industry. Your contributions will directly influence the future of secure, mobile access solutions, driving growth and innovation in a rapidly evolving market.

You will report to our Associate Director, Enterprise Software, and work out of our Pittsford, NY or Framingham, MA location on a hybrid schedule.

The annual base salary range for this position is $113,000 – $140,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain scalable software as part of an agile team, ensuring adherence to project and industry standards.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from refining requirements to production deployment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.

• Continuously improve development processes and best practices for greater efficiency and innovation.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5 years in software development, specializing in .NET/C#, scalable SaaS applications, SQL Server, and Windows.

• 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation) and SQL Server (stored procedures, query optimization, and database performance).

• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control.

WE VALUE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong problem-solving skills and experience mentoring junior developers.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in team environments.

• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and front-end frameworks (Kendo, Angular, React, Vue.js).

• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform).
