Global PMO

The goal of the Global PMO is to ensure our solutions and services deployment for new and existing customers are completed on-time, efficiently and successfully. This new team is a global centre of excellence for best practices and execution, ensuring highest customer satisfaction. The Global PMO team has 2 broad areas of responsibility-

Program managing the successful onboarding of ATMaaS, Managed Services and complex deals in line with NCR Atleos’ strategic goals All NCR Atleos installations and deployments

The Global PMO is located within the Customer Services Management (CSM) team. The CSM team plays a critical role within NCR Atleos, with responsibility for service management, ATM as a Service and managed services operations.

Position Summary

The PMO Leader – NAMER will have leadership and responsibility over the dual functions of the Global PMO team across US and Canada.

Project onboarding – The role is responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the program management function across NAMER. He/she will manage a team of senior project management professionals across multiple countries, managing the critical phase of onboarding of complex new projects, orchestrating the coordination and direction of these project managers. These PM’s work with various internal local teams and customers to facilitate the seamless integration of new projects, particularly ATMaaS and other complex deals. The role provides clear mentorship, direction, and guidance to the NAMER project managers to guarantee the fulfilment of key organizational goals, deliverables, and customer satisfaction targets.

Installations Operations - The role is responsible for the NAMER installations (TS) business, managing ATM installations/upgrades and deployments, and overseeing the work of multiple country teams. The role is tasked with effective management of resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure that projects are delivered to the customers satisfaction. By taking ownership of profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities, the role plays a pivotal role in driving financial performance, optimizing revenue streams, and controlling costs. Requirements of the role include liaising with cross-functional teams, engaging with various stakeholders, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and partners to drive project success, as well as identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.

Given the dual role, this leadership role encompasses a multifaceted set of responsibilities to manage people, projects, activity and financials across diverse geographies. The successful candidate is expected to possess operational expertise, financial acumen, project management skillsets, cross-cultural communication skills, and a strategic approach to managing, balancing and coordinating the onboarding activity and TS deployments, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance the region. The role will engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to make connections and influence decisions.

The PMO Leader – NAMER for Onboarding and Installations is also responsible for maintaining target quality standards, providing training and support to team members, monitoring project performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and aligning financial objectives with overarching strategic goals.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Cross-Functional Leadership:

Responsible for dual functions of installation (TS) operations and Project onboarding

Project onboarding – Leading a team of senior program/project managers responsible for onboarding of ATMaaS, Managed Services and complex deals across the region

TS – Responsible for TS deployments and annual revenues of $50M from NAMER, working with US majors to small credit unions.

Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a large team of project management and business ops professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Project Onboarding & Program Management

Plan and manage the Program Management function to ensure onboarding of ATMaaS, Managed Services and complex deals are completed on-time, efficiently and within budget, with the aim of exceeding customer expectations.

Manage programs cross-functionally, directing resources from other teams including installations, Professional Services, ATM Networks, Payments Support, Cash teams; collaborating with these teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the onboarding and transition phases.

Manage and grow a team of program and project managers, empowering team members, developing a culture of ownership and fostering a collaborative high-performance culture.

Optimize resource allocation and workload distribution among the team for effective project delivery. Balance projects across the team when faced with competing priorities.

Monitor and ensure Program/ Project Managers report on project progress, risks, and issues, ensuring consistency in processes and standards, and compliance with project policies and standards.

Oversee generation of comprehensive reports and documentation for stakeholders to track progress and outcomes.

Facilitate communication and coordination across departments and manage communication with executive stakeholders, ensuring project alignment with business objectives.

Installation (TS) Business Operations:

Responsible for developing strategic plans for TS Deployments, aligning them with the overall project objectives and organizational goals.

Oversee, manage, and optimize resource allocation and scheduling, ensuring the right skills are available to meet project deadlines effectively.

Establish quality standards and processes to ensure that deployments meet the required targets of time, productivity and efficiency while adhering to best practices. Establishing quality control measures to ensure consistency.

Facilitate clear communication channels and collaboration between project teams, business partners, leadership and our customers in each country.

Monitor project performance metrics across NAMER

Address bottlenecks and issues, deploying problem solving skills to keep program delivery on track and within budget.

Oversee generation of comprehensive reports and documentation for stakeholders to track progress and outcomes.

Ensure adherence to regulations and compliance standards.

Financial Management:

Ownership of profit and loss (P&L) for the TS business in NAMER, meet / exceed quarterly targets on Revenue and EBIDTA.

Develop budgeting and cost-control strategies to optimize financial performance.

Implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.

Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts and reports to stakeholders.

Communicate financial performance metrics and insights to support decision-making.

Anticipate financial risks and opportunities to make informed decisions.

Risk Mitigation:

Identify and mitigating risks associated with projects.

Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and disruptions.

Mitigating financial risks that may impact project profitability.

Strategic Planning and Business Development:

Align financial goals with overall project objectives and organizational strategies.

Implementing pricing strategies and value-added services to maximize project profitability.

Identify and help country teams identify market trends / opportunities and expand service offerings to drive revenue.

Developing long-term financial plans to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

Continuous Improvement:

Conducting post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and best practices.

Implementing improvements based on feedback to enhance future project outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

20 years of Business Ops/Project management experience in SaaS/Software/Fintech industry, ideally leading large international teams.

Bachelors degree in engineering, finance, or business discipline, plus extensive business management experience to include Services, Operations, and complex Program Management.

Proven experience as a leader in customer service, field service or a related field within the same or similar industry.

Track record of delivering transformation change.

Able to demonstrate prior experience of establishing an effective operating model, org design and experience of implement on-shore, off-shore, and partnership models globally.

Demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable strategies.
