General Description
This is a grant-funded position expected to be sustained through June 2026. Responsible work overseeing all aspects of the National Dislocated Worker Grants (NDWG) and related projects including detailed planning, monitoring, case management, and reporting. The Manager is responsible for overall planning, coordination, implementation, and close out of NDWG grants and related projects by performing duties such as scheduling, tracking responsibilities including tracking performance measures and preparation of necessary grant reports.
Essential Job Functions
Plans the grant in order to accomplish the goals and measures outlined in the grant application and contract.
Coordinates and develops marketing efforts by designing, developing, and implementing marketing techniques.
Coordinates ongoing outreach to and the identification of community resources. Establishes linkages and provides coordination.
Communicates and meets with all partners and service providers to assure grant goals and employer needs are met.
Performs and supervises intake/eligibility efforts for grant participants.
Manages all aspects of the provision of intensive placement services to grant participants to ensure grant coordination and achievement of grant goals, including recruitment, screening, assessment, training and placement of the grant participants.
Monitors the activities of grant participants to assure progress to established goals. Takes corrective actions as necessary including mid-course adjustments to assure deliverables are met.
Researches grant opportunities and works with other staff to develop, submit, and track proposals.
Conducts training and provides guidance to staff.
Makes work site visits as required to follow up on customer progress.
Tracks in-kind contributions towards grants.
Provides monitoring of grant services, files and data entry to ensure quality of data integrity and compliance.
Coordinates and develops guidance and procedure to implement work.
Identifies opportunities for collaboration that will enhance services.
Coordinates grant activities with other grant funded workforce staff and available financial resources and in-kind resources to maximize funding and outcomes.
Cultivates and maintains a direct working relationship with all collaborating agencies to ensure high quality seamless customer service, program coordination and achievement of grant goals.
Coordinates with temp worker contractor to ensure onboarding, separation, training, record keeping, and other related tasks are complete, accurate, and timely.<
