A Stress Engineer is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Kennedy Space Center area. This role focuses on performing pipe stress analysis using AutoPipe per ASME B31.3 standards, collaborating with engineering teams, and supporting construction transitions, with an emphasis on experience in dynamic analysis and piping industry standards.

responsibilities:

Perform pipe stress analysis using AutoPipe in accordance with ASME B31.3 Code.

Model piping systems to verify flexibility, stability, and equipment nozzle load qualification.

Collaborate with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to ensure quality and cost-effective design.

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required.

Provide support to construction during the transition from engineering.

Education and Experience;

Bachelors degree (BS) with at least 6 years of related experience.

Experience with AutoPipe.

Preferred Qualifications:

strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other relevant piping codes and standards.

Recent hands-on experience with AutoPipe for pipe stress analysis.

Professional Engineer (PE) registration.

Previous experience with the company or NASA projects.

Experience with dynamic analysis and AutoPipe.
