The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Dispatch Operator to join our team at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. If you are looking to work in an exciting environment where not two days are the same, this is your next career move. As a Dispatch Operator, you will be responsible for operating the central dispatch and communication system, monitor the surveillance systems, request work orders, and closely collaborate with the Emergency Operations Center.

Pay

$16.50 – $16.50 / hour

Responsibilities

Observe all areas of the property through surveillance systems and report any procedural infractions or safety concerns.

Comply with confidentiality regulations regarding all surveillance information including camera coverage, investigations and proprietary material.

Produce written logs of any observations that raise suspicion at the property.

Use the central data system to run activity reports on a daily basis.

Maintain familiarity with property and company regulations.

All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous surveillance or Emergency Services Dispatcher experience preferred.

Ability to problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.

Ability to remain standing or sitting for the entire length of shift.
