job summary:

A leader in innovative medical devices is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its team for an exciting project in Pompano Beach, FL. This is a contract role expected to last 90 days with possible conversion to direct hire.

As Mechanical Engineer, you will lead projects to continue the growth of engineered products, develop and plan product line expansions, design changes, and develop design and verification protocols. You will work closely and collaboratively with the engineering team, production team, and safety/quality team. You should be familiar with Solidworks and QMS software, and FDA and European regulations, along with ISO standards. This role is for a lead, who should have similar medical device project management experience to get production in full swing.

Candidates should have a mechanical engineering degree and 5 years in medical devices, testing, verifications, quality and production launch. Candidates should be local to the Pompano Beach area only at this time.
