Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Endo Technician to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is preparation of the room and equipment before an endoscopic procedure, cleanup and sterilization after. You will work with a phenomenal team to ensure quality of care by cleaning, maintaining, and reporting any deficiencies to the lead/manager.

In this role you will:

Ensure all equipment and supplies are available for each case prior to the procedure and assist the Endoscopic Specialist in communicating with the Supply Chain supply needs.

Serves as the patient and family advocate with respect to the patient’s right to privacy by protecting confidential information.

Meet with patients to go over forms or perform other administrative duties.

Be Present in the room throughout each procedure, assisting the doctor and nurses. Including, but not limited to, collect biopsy specimens, and/or keep the field sterile as part of your duties in the room.

After completion of the procedure, clean the room and sterilize the used implements.

Job Requirements:

One year acute care experience; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.

BLS – AHA Healthcare Provider required
