The community you’ll be caring for: Kissimmee Campus

o AdventHealth Kissimmee is a 242-bed community-focused hospital. Conveniently located near Walt Disney World.

o The team is here is dedicated to bringing mission-focused, faith-based care to residents and visitors of Osceola and Orange Counties.

o AdventHealth Kissimmee has recently expanded our existing tower by 3-floors and 80-beds, including new ancillary spaces such as Inpatient Rehab, Inpatient Dialysis, Laboratory, and Imaging services.

The role you’ll contribute:

Under general supervision, the Administrative Liaison supports and collaborates with Nursing and Children’s Hospital Leadership and other organizational entities in performing a wide range of administrative duties. The primary responsibilities of the position include the requisitioning and staff placement, IS coordination, and performance review processes. Supports Leadership through completion of other administrative functions. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

· Assists and works collaboratively with Nursing and Children’s Hospital Leadership in the management of Position Control responsibilities concerning employee placement, ensuring correct positioning and coding of Nursing and Children’s Hospital staff. Processes requisitions and position/employee change forms as applicable. Works with HR Position Control, as appropriate, to resolve issues concerning employee records. Manages the employee record system and employment related documentation for Nursing and Children’s Hospital.

· Coordinates and oversees the employee performance review process, ensuring reviews are completed and submitted to HR on a timely basis.

· As IS Coordinator, works with MIS to procure hardware and system access for Nursing and Children’s Hospital staff, and Executive Leadership.

· As requested, researches and compiles various data, completing reports and presentations for supported Leadership. Maintains the job description database for Nursing, ensuring up-to-date job descriptions are submitted to Compensation as changes are made.

· Completes and appropriately submits payment authorization vouchers (PAVs) and expense reports in a timely manner. Manages the employee time and attendance records, ensuring corrections are submitted and/or processed on a timely basis.

· Ensures adequate supplies are available and equipment is properly maintained. Completes and submits supply orders and work orders as necessary.

· Ensures staffing licensure are current, updating employee records accordingly.

· Makes meeting arrangements and rotates, as needed.

· Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the efficient operations of the department.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Outlook, Access, Excel and PowerPoint

· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with ability to multitask

· Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

· Typing and mathematical skills; ability to pass AH clerical skills testing

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

· Working knowledge of AH Sunport system

· Knowledge of medical terminology

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Two to three years administrative/executive secretary/assistant experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

· Associate’s degree in secretarial sciences, business, or human resources

· Two to three years experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in a hospital setting

· BLS
