Randstad Madisonville is now accepting candidates to load and unload machinery. This is a physical position that requires candidates to load machinery with materials up to 50lbs and place them on a rack up to 6 feet high. Shifts can vary. Pay rate varies per shift. Responsibilities

Material Handling: Safely load and unload hollow metal components weighing up to 50 pounds onto machine racks.

Lifting Techniques: Utilize proper lifting techniques to raise and position materials up to 6 feet in height, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of materials loaded onto machine racks, ensuring stock levels are monitored and reported.

Equipment Operation: Operate any necessary lifting equipment, such as forklifts or hoists, while adhering to safety protocols.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Quality Control: Inspect materials for defects or damage before loading, ensuring only quality materials are processed.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to coordinate loading operations and ensure efficient workflow.

Maintenance Support: Assist in the maintenance and organization of the loading area and equipment, reporting any issues to supervisors.

Training Participation: Engage in training sessions on safety practices and proper handling techniques to enhance skills and knowledge.

Physical Stamina: Maintain physical fitness to meet the demands of lifting, standing, and moving throughout the shift.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

standing for 8 hours at one time
