Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Terminal Manager to oversee the daily operations of our terminal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient terminal operations, managing personnel, and optimizing resources to meet company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Oversee all terminal operations, including loading and unloading, scheduling, and fleet management to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to safety standards.

Team Leadership: Supervise and train terminal staff, fostering a positive work environment while promoting teamwork and productivity.

Financial Oversight: Manage the terminal budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.

Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with DOT regulations and company policies, including safety protocols and maintenance standards.

Performance Monitoring: Analyze operational metrics and performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control and logistics coordination to ensure proper stock levels and efficient warehouse operations.

Reporting: Prepare regular reports on terminal performance, challenges, and achievements for senior management.

Qualifications:

5 years of experience in transportation or logistics management, with a focus on terminal operations.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficient in transportation management systems and MS Office Suite.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
