 Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for the safe operation of heavy industrial forklifts. Fill out and follow loading diagrams; delete inventory tickets as units are shipped; print bills of lading. Operate forklift to load units of lumber onto trail cars and trucks. Set up a dry and green lumber yard for efficient storage; maintain in an orderly manner. Be familiar with lumber storage yards for efficient movement of units; sort lumber to accomplish this. Keep records of loads ready for shipment; communicate trucks loaded with shipping office. At the beginning of shift complete operators daily checklist. Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations. Comply with all company rules and regulations. Keep work area clean — cleanup during any down time. Other tasks as requested

Requirements and Qualifications[]{#Hlk142289191}[]{#Hlk142304825}: High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Drivers license. Forklift certification- Preferred. 2 years experience as a Forklift Operator. Ability to read and understand printed materials. Strong Math Skills. Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills. Willing to work a 12-hour shift, including weekends-when requested
