Patient Transporter – Central Transport/Express Services – Part Time – Days

Position Summary:

The patient transporter works in various departments of the hospital by transporting patients to their required destinations. The ideal candidate will have interpersonal skills and compassion to be a successful patient transporter. High School diploma or GED.
Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR Certification. Must be (and maintain) CPR certification within 30 days of CPR expiration.
Must be able to move about hospital and between workstations.
Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to frequently move, lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Previous patient care experience preferred.
