Position Summary: CHN is looking for a Resident Service Coordinator at our New Sunrise Properties office.
This position works with special needs populations (formerly homeless and/or mental health consumers) at risk of losing their housing and helping individuals/families prevent the loss of housing and /or housing subsidies. This position provides outreach to persons in their homes and in the community and also serves as liaison between tenants and landlords, while partnering with service agencies. The Resident Services Coordinator reports to the Property Management Director and assists in the delivery of New Sunrise Properties and other landlord tenant services. Given the wide range of responsibilities the successful candidate will have to exhibit good judgement and work independently without constant oversight or monitoring.

The rate of pay for this position is $40,028 per year, commensurate with experience (paid at an hourly rate of $19.24 per hour; FLSA Non-Exempt).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide support to new tenants, addressing their needs and ensuring a smooth transition into their homes. This includes assessing their requirements, resolving complaints with the assistance of Property Management, and connecting them with community resources as necessary. You will collaborate with service agencies such as mental health organizations and homeless shelters, coordinating assistance for eligible applicants. Regular inspections of units and grounds will be conducted to ensure cleanliness and identify maintenance issues. Effective communication with tenants, clinical staff, and property management will be crucial to address any concerns and maintain a safe living environment.
In addition, you will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail when working with tenants over the phone and email. Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks are essential, as you proactively identify and address necessary actions. Comfort in interacting with individuals of varying independence and social skills is important, as you enter their homes to provide assistance.
