Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronics and manufacturing equipment, including PLC controllers, HVAC, conveyors, among others. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for installing, inspecting, and improving the efficiency of the equipment while adhering to safety, quality, and operational efficiency requirements.
– Responsible for electrical maintenance of foreign equipment including felt lines, molding equipment, presses, robotics (ABB Robots), water jets.
– Working with and troubleshooting 480v.
– Maintenance of hydraulics and pneumatics (presses).
– Troubleshoot Siemans PLCs / understand input and output.
– These machines use the metric system – will need to be familiar with this or willing to learn.
– Responsible for setting up and installing new equipment as well as running electrical.
– Troubleshoot and maintain motors, sensors, photo eyes, switches.
– Maintenance of Curtains, proxy switches, color sensors.
– Maintain and troubleshoot junction boxes and terminal switches.
– Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace wires.
– Responsible for facilities maintenance, lighting, etc. as needed.
Must Have:
4 years of industrial maintenance experience
lock out tag out
experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
experience reading blueprints and schematics
