Major Duties and Responsibilities

Receive documents.

Prepare customs entries in Customsware or other customs software.

Understand the elements of the Import & export customs SOP.

Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems.

Ensure timely customs clearance of shipments.

Monitor customs clearances and communicate with Customers.

Work with customs and the customer to resolve any issues regarding customs clearance

Ability to explain regulations and requirements to customers

Ensure compliance at all times to regulations

Strong written and verbal communication

Customer Service Experience

Effective interpersonal skills

Pro-active approach, strong organizational and computer skills

Good computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word)

Fluent in English
