Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Candidates will work in truck bays installing custom beds/boxes, snow plows, and dump beds. They will use hand tools to fasten and attach these implements and accessories. Training will be provided on how to perform these tasks on different truck lines.

This is a fully on-site position in FLINT, Michigan.

Work Environment

The company is the number one fitter of aftermarket equipment and accessories for service fleets. They manufacture and build plows, beds, and implements for organizations such as Consumers Energy and Fastenal. Work hours are day shift only, from 6am to 2:30pm, with very few weekends and overtime. The dress code includes jeans/work pants and a T-shirt. Candidates must have their own tools. The work environment features large, well-lighted, organized, and clean bays, working only on new cars and equipment that have not seen the road yet. Consistent clean work and raises based on ability are offered, with multiple tier 2 and tier 3 installers making $18-$22 after 2-6 years.
