IT SharePoint Solutions Analyst

GENERAL SUMMARY
The purpose of this job is to implement, manage, and enhance the SharePoint environment to support effective collaboration and document management across the organization. Key responsibilities include configuring the SharePoint platform, developing shared collaboration spaces, managing user access controls, and ensuring data security through best practices in governance and data loss prevention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
– Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to design, implement, and maintain Microsoft SharePoint sites, Microsoft forms, Power Apps, workflows, and M365 solutions that meet Kalamazoo Countys requirements and follow the IT Governance program guidelines.
– Configure and maintain the SharePoint platform, including document libraries, workflows, and collaboration spaces.
– Manage user access, permissions, and document controls.
– Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues and perform database maintenance, backups, and site archival.
– To ensure security and usability, implement and enforce SharePoint, One Drive, and Microsoft Teams governance policies.
– Develop and execute data management strategies, including reporting and template creation.
– Work with end users to create forms workflows and to ensure effective use of SharePoint and related tools.
– Provide technical server and application support for SharePoint and related systems.
– Perform administrative duties, including attending meetings, completing organizational paperwork, and other related tasks.
– Perform related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience
– At least two years of relevant college-level course work or an Associates degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or a related field.
– 3 to 5 years of related work experience, such as working with Microsoft Azure/M365 environment and specifically with setting up SharePoint, One Drive, Forms, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
– Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
