Shop Supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a dedicated shop supervisor to lead a
team and ensure smooth operations. Focus will be to deliver high-quality
products with maintaining a collaborative and efficient work
environment. Person will be responsible for overseeing daily operations
in the manufacturing shop, ensuring production target are met while
maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency. This role involves hands-on
supervision, team coordination, and collaboration with leadership to
improve processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Team Leadership &
Supervision: o Direct and supervise a small team of manufacturing team
members. o Ensure that team members are properly trained and are
following established processes. o Foster a positive, team-oriented
atmosphere. o Understand, promote and do every day life with the company
values. 2. Production Oversight: o Manage daily production schedules and
workflows to ensure on-time completion of projects. o Monitor and track
production metrics such as efficiency, quality, and safety. o Ensure
that all materials and tools are available and properly maintained. o
Plan, organize, monitor and review production for effective results. 3.
Quality Control: o Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company
and customer quality standards. o Identify and address quality issues or
defects promptly, working with the team to implement corrective actions.
4. Health & Safety: o Ensure all team members follow safety protocols
and wear appropriate PPE. o Conduct regular safety checks and report any
hazards or incidents. o Promote a safe and clean working environment. 5.
Process Improvement: o Collaborate with management to identify
opportunities for process improvements in the shop. o Implement lean
manufacturing techniques to increase efficiency and reduce waste. o
Actively participate in problem-solving efforts related to production
challenges. 6. Reporting & Communication: o Communicate with leadership
regarding production progress, challenges, and team performance. o
Provide regular reports on key metrics, including output, quality, and
safety. 7. Inventory & Equipment Management: o Monitor stock levels of
raw materials and finished goods. o Ensure equipment is maintained and
operational, scheduling repairs as necessary. o Assist in purchasing
supplies and materials as needed. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: -Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with
supervisory experience preferred. -Strong organizational, leadership,
and communication skills. -Hands-on experience with manufacturing
equipment and tools. -Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to
maintaining a safe work environment. -Ability to work collaboratively
with a small team and adapt to changing needs. -Adjust and gain buy in
