JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: The Industrial and Systems
Engineering program at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville invites
applicants for a non-tenure track position as Lecturer of Industrial and
Systems Engineering. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate
courses in lean and continuous improvement, manufacturing systems,
engineering economy, and additional teaching responsibilities as needed.
The candidate is also expected to engage with the program faculty on
curriculum development, strengthen education components, facilitate
industry collaboration, and support the program recruitment, retention
and outreach initiatives as required. We are a strong, student-centered
program located in Southwest Wisconsin that values hands-on
undergraduate engineering education and strong teaching pedagogy. This
is a full time, 9-month academic appointment with a preferred start date
of January 9, 2025. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and

Youll Need to Succeed: Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or
related field, PhD preferred. Industrial-related professional experience
in a closely related field OR teaching experience in different domains
of industrial and systems engineering. Excellent oral and written
communication skills. Dedication to undergraduate education. Enthusiasm
for professional engagement with students in and out of the classroom.
