System Administrator

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Install, configure, and support an organizations
local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems
or a segment of a network system. Monitor network to ensure network
availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance
to support network availability. May monitor and test Web site
performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without
interruption. May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and
coordination between network and data communications hardware and
software. May supervise computer user support specialists and computer
network support specialists. May administer network security measures.

sites operate correctly and without interruption. May assist in network
modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data
communications hardware and software. May supervise computer user
support specialists and computer network support specialists. May
administer network security measures. Must adhere to Legendary Waters
Resort & Casinos policies and procedures. Must adhere to all
appearance and uniform standards. Maintains user accounts including
appropriate permissions. Ensures accurate and regular updating of
databases. Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all applications on
the network operating system. Enforces standards of security, system
integrity and confidentiality within the department. Maintains broad
knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment and/or systems.
Devises, develops, and implements disaster recovery and archiving
procedures. Server hardware maintenance and upgrades. Document new
system implementations, server settings, installed software and account
information. Maintain, document, and inventory all software. Compiles
system/network gaming standards. Perform a weekly full tape backup. Must
be able to lift to 40 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for
extended periods of time. Perform other duties as assigned.
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum five (5) years experience
with server-based programs. Casino/slot operations experience preferred.
Two (2) years computer software/programming degree preferred. General
software and computer equipment analysis. Advanced hardware and software
trouble shooting and computer networking. Ability to deal effectively
with all staff members exercising tact, diplomacy, and patience always.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and employee relation skills.
Excellent customer service skills. Must have excellent verbal and
written communication skills. Ability to multitask. Maintain an elevated
