Outagamie CCS Individual Skill Development Program serves youth
struggling in various aspects of their life. As the Youth Support
Specialist, you will meet one-on-one with youth using goal-oriented
interventions to support their care plan. Interventions may include
social skills, emotional regulation, anger management, independent
living skills, and/or behavior management. Youth Support Specialists can
also support parents to enhance the parent-child relationship. This is a
great opportunity for both experienced professionals or recent graduates
seeking a part-time role in the human services/social work/mental health
field. Apply today to join our team! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE YOUTH
SUPPORT SPECIALIST: Analyze youth histories and capabilities to
determine what services are needed to meet the unique needs of youth.
Implement, evaluate, and review youth goals in collaboration with team
members, youth, and their families. Exercise judgment to intervene as an
advocate for youth in school, the community and during emergency and
crisis situations. Organize and facilitate individual meetings and
structured recreational activities that assist youth in developing
pro-social skills and connections. Safely transport clients as needed.
LOCATION: Office is located in Appleton, WI with some local travel
required to meet clients within the home or other community spaces. Some
flexibility to work remotely from home may be approved. Must be able to
meet in-person with families located in Outagamie County, Wisconsin.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 3:00-8:00 PM. Some weekends may be required;

Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or
