JOB REQUIREMENTS: Shipping Associate – R5596
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrate commitment to safety and
perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and
procedures Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties
in adherence to GMP guidelines Be aware of responsibilities and
accountability as clearly defined for key staff involved with product
safety, legality, and quality systems Receive product destined for
warehouse and perform SAP transaction (FGTH) Band and wrap shipments
and weigh shipments, and match product with paperwork to check for
errors Become familiar with customer packaging requirements
Load/unload trucks using PIT equipment Maintain dock area to ensure
that it is safe and clean at all times Rearrange staging areas for
open space when needed Switch bales on the baler when full
Participate in scheduled weekend overtime and be on call when scheduled
Call in carriers for shipments, and maintain and follow Menasha
Freight Guidelines and select the right carrier for LTL and truckload
shipments Perform van run to outside customers when needed Process
bill of ladings in SAP Provide backup to Receiving, Stock Handlers
and Warehouse when needed Perform cycle counts and physical
inventories Perform weekly clean up duties in the department
Process air packages and operate UPS/FedEx machine as needed Serve as
backup for internal mail runs and UPS/FedEx packages daily Understand
department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and
job reporting requirements Actively participate in lean manufacturing
initiatives Perform other duties as assigned by
