Job Description Responsibilities: Lead, coach, mentor, motivate and inspire direct reports to achieve an optimum level of performance by consistently demonstrating role model behavior. The Operations Manager is primarily responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the activities of production department operations which also includes the performance of all functions within the department. Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors. Coordinate production activities with warehouse, procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of machines and equipment. Review and analyze quality, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating or production problems. Ensures process corrective actions are addressed in a timely manner and are effective, including conducting audits of effectiveness. Ensure that supervisors are aware of and adhere to plant safety rules and regulations. Works with the supervisors to develop a safety culture with zero accidents/incidents. Ensure that equipment is maintained and operated in a safe manner. Set the quality direction to maintain production throughput while meeting/ exceeding quality requirements. Maintain employee awareness and adherence to ISO standards and procedures. Lead successful output of site production operations and achievement of operational goals. Set goals for employees throughout and/or department standards. Evaluate and provide training as needed, setting in place a long-term training strategy. Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports in a timely manner. Recommend increases in compensation in accordance with pre-determined guidelines. Ensures that all aspects of the Quality Policy and Objectives, as well as OSHA rules and regulations, are understood and enacted. Perform other duties assigned by management representatives within the scope of responsibility and the requirements of the job. Qualifications Associates degree with 5 years of related work experience Excellent interpersonal communications skills are required as well as personal computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Mail, Word, PowerPoint and the use of Internet Explorer. Additional Information Thenational pay range for this role is $87300 to $143500 annually. The payrange may beslightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
