In this Senior Technology Product Manager role, not only will you be responsible for the development, communication, and implementation of the organizations cloud security product strategy, but you will passionately lead and simplify our cloud security adoption user experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Senior Technical Product Manager is responsible for multiple value streams within a single product domain. They incorporate the voice of the customer into the product solution. The product manager manages and prioritizes the content produced by development teams to ensure it meets engineering, business and customer needs and continually searches for ways to improve efficiency. Product managers ensure that there is no disconnect between the tactical execution and customer needs.
Defines product vision, strategy, objectives, and outcomes for security transformation
Lead the product across its entire lifecycle using industry best practices – performance, expansion, financial health, roadmap, and end-of-life.
Serve as security product subject matter expert to support leadership-level alignment across the enterprise
Apply security domain expertise to credibly represent, manage and engage with business(es)
Partner with stakeholders to enable successful development, delivery, and adoption of technology solutions
Know the market, to effectively identify and frame new technology products within the security domain
Diffuse conflict by driving consensus based in the greater good of the product
Guide the team through Program Increment (PI) planning events; including capacity planning, prioritization, refinement, and scheduling of work
Track Value delivered to the business by the defined product over time.
Facilitate capability intake, refinement, and prioritization
Encourage and participate in user research alongside the engineering team
Partner across technology organizations for roadmap planning where there are cross-team dependencies
Practice and promote key product culture concepts: make it easy to do the right thing, transparency breeds trust, adaptiveness & learning, simplification, focus on highest priority work, and outcomes over outputs

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
1 years of technology-powered product solution delivery and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery experience
1 years in a role that made decisions across an enterprise, and not just one or two business units
Experience navigating and delivering solutions in Fortune 500-sized organizations
Experience of prioritization with security and technology stakeholders within a product domain
Proven ability to ensure industry standard architecture and design patterns are followed
Proven ability to influence “Definition of Done” and ensure it is clearly understood and articulated to stakeholders across the enterprise
Proven ability to negotiate win-win solutions across teams and lines of business (cross application / cross portfolio)
Proven ability to effectively communicates and builds relationship across multiple teams, stakeholders, and leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
Acumen with product management tools like Aha, Rally, GitHub, and an understanding of DevOps
Basic knowledge of modern enterprise technologies (ex: SAST, Infra, CWP, CSPM, Infrastructure as Code, IAM, DAST, DLP, Data at Rest, AI, networking) function and how to secure them
Basic knowledge of “shift left” CI/CD automation techniques and security tools
Conceptual understanding of public cloud virtual machines and container solution offerings (any Cloud Service Provider. Preferred- AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Basic understanding of Kubernetes and/or Docker Containers
Proven ability to understand, document and describe expected outcomes, measure business value delivered, and show empathy for user experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
